Financial Aid

Assistance with tuition is often very important for students in order to receive the education that they desire.

Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act (WIOA)

WIOA is a federal program providing assistance to unemployed adults and dislocated workers (those affected by a plant closing or worker reduction). WIOA may cover a significant portion of tuition costs.

For more information on WIOA, contact Michigan Works! Agency at 1-800-285-WORK, or visit their website at https://www.michiganworks.org.

The OMACCS also offers some wonderful information on various forms of financial aid that may be available for prospective students. OMACCS Website

HEART TO HEART SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Bridget Gakstatter Memorial Scholarship

We are pleased to announce the Bridget Gakstatter Legacy Scholarship, a prestigious award dedicated to honoring the memory and values of an extraordinary individual, Bridget, who exemplified kindness, compassion, and selfless service throughout her life.

Bridget was a remarkable person who dedicated herself to spreading love and positivity in her community. Her unwavering commitment to learning everyone’s name, showing genuine interest in others’ well-being, and her ability to brighten anyone’s day were truly inspiring. Bridget’s life motto, “more love, less hate,” guided her actions and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

In recognition of Bridget’s extensive volunteer work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Cornerstone Schools and her local church, Heart to Heart Healthcare Training has established this scholarship to support students who embody similar qualities and aspirations.
