SPREAD ADALYN’S SPARKLE CHALLENGE – benefiting Team Adalyn!
By doing a random act of kindness and paying it forward you can help raise money and spread awareness about Congenital Heart Defects and Team Adalyn!
We are challenging all of our Heart to Heart family (students past and present, and anyone else who wants to join) to go out and do a random act of kindness for others and spread Adalyn’s sparkle throughout our community. We will be handing out Add a Blessing cards (pictured in this post) to anyone who may want to participate.
For each random act of kindness someone does, we are asking them to give the recipient of the kind deed an Add a Blessing card as well as take a picture of the kind deed and send it to us via email, or text message or social media. (email – info@h2hhealth.com, text message – (734) 890-9574 or by tagging us on instagram or facebook.
For every picture we receive for spreading Adalyn’s sparkle we will be donating $1 (up to $1000 for the entire month of May) to Team Adalyn.
If you would like to stop in and pick up an Add a Blessing card to participate in this great cause, please stop in at either location starting May 6th (Monday through Friday from 9a to 5p). We can also mail out Add a Blessing cards if you would like to participate!
Let’s talk some numbers about Congenital Heart Defects (CHD)! Every 15 minutes a child is born with a CHD. That’s 1 in 100 babies that are born with a CHD. Approximately 25% of children born with a CHD will need heart surgery or other interventions to survive. CHDs are the #1 cause of birth-defect-related deaths. This deserves to be in the spotlight, and needs funding and research to give more options to these families.
